The main functional purpose of food conveyor cabinet is transporting food from the basement to the first floor or from one floor to another inside the dwelling. It is a wooden box divided into two parts which may contain two shelves and sometimes one shelf. It prevailed only in homes and palaces with large areas. This paper focused on its purpose, examples, shapes and measures. It appeared since the Islamic era "Ottoman" until the modern era.
