يتناول البحث تفاصيل حادث وفاة هکتور بن بارمينيون، أثناء حملة الإسکندر الأکبر علي مصر. وذلک إثر سقوطه في مياه النيل بعد غرق قاربه. وما أثاره نص المؤرخ الروماني کورتيوس حول تلک الحادثة من تساؤلات، ليضيف رأي الإمبراطور يوليانوس بضلوع الإسکندر في الحادث بعُدًا آخر للموضوع.
This article contains details of the death of Hector son of Parmenion during the campaign of Alexander the great in Egypt, after his boat sank and fallen in the Nile. And the inquiry impact of the text by the Roman historian Curtius on this accident. In addition to the opinion of Emperor Julian about the involvement of Alexander in the accident which added another aspect.
