يتناول البحث مناظر الصيد وتربية الحيوان المتواجدة على جدران مقابر أشراف الدولة القديمة في منطقة سقارة والتي قام بالکشف عنها سليم حسن في الفترة بين عام 1937م-1938م، حيث کانت تضم مناظر تربية وحلب الأبقار، ومناظر تربية الحمير واستخدمها في الحقل وأعمال النقل، ومناظر تربية الماعز، ويليها مناظر استئناس الکلاب وتربيتها، أيضًا مناظر استئناس القردة بأنوعها، وأخيرًا مناظر تربية الطيور وصيدها.
The research deals with the scenes of hunting and animal husbandry on the walls of the tombs of the old state authorities in the Saqqara region, which Selim Hassan discovered during the period 1937-1938, which included scenes of breeding and milking of cattle, and the breeding of donkeys and their use in the field and transport works, Goats, followed by scenes of dog rearing and breeding, also scenes of apes and species, and finally bird breeding and hunting.
