Plants played an important role in the lives of the ancient Egyptians, in addition to using some of them as food, others (whether local or imported) were employed to treat certain diseases, including afA (subject of this research). This plant was a compinent in many medical prescriptions for a wide range of diseases, medical prescriptions varied between what was taken orally, as poultices, or ointment, The study intends to clarify the nature of this plant, sources, uses, and how the ancient Egyptian expressed linguistically.
